How To Get Death of Orion Wonder Weapon

Overview

This guide will walk you through the precise steps to acquire the Death of Orion wonder weapon on the IX Zombies map. You'll need to activate Pack-a-Punch, gather specific parts for the Acid Trap, collect special items through crowd affinity, and finally interact with the Mystery Box.

Step 1: Activate Pack-a-Punch

The first step is to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine.

Step 2: Collect the Stone Head

You need to find a stone head, the location of which is indicated by an arrow.

• Go through the newly opened door that leads into the Danu-Ra Temple Entrance area.
• You will find a small cauldron on fire in a window.
• Shoot the cauldron to make it fall over.
• From here, take a left and make your way up the Danu Tower and onto the drawbridge.
• Look out towards the arena. There should be an arrow below you that is pointing to one of the four towers (Ra, Danu, Zeus, Odin).
• Go to the bottom level of the indicated tower and pick up a stone head.
• Here are the potential locations of the stone heads at each tower:
• Ra Tower: Near a burning cauldron.
• Danu Tower: In the murky green water.
• Zeus Tower: Near the stairs leading up.
• Odin Tower: Next to a large cauldron.

Step 3: Build the Acid Trap

The Acid Trap is crucial for the next step, requiring three parts to assemble.

• The first part of the Acid Trap can be collected after completing your first three challenges at the spawn area (Arena).
• To start challenges, knife one of the four flags on the sides of the arena.
• Once you've finished your third challenge, you will be rewarded with an upgraded Strife.
• After accepting the upgraded Strife, a pot will spawn behind you on the podium. Pick it up.
• You can then find the last two parts in the Temple. Look in the two side rooms at each end of the temple.
• You are looking for a wooden cog and a chain.
• With all three parts, you can then build the Acid Trap at either the entrance to the Ra Tower or the Danu Tower.

Step 4: Obtain the Scorpion Key

Use the Acid Trap to melt the stone head and reveal the Scorpion Key.

• Place the stone head on the grate located below the newly built Acid Trap.
• Activate (buy) the Acid Trap.
• Once the trap finishes its cycle, you will be able to pick up a Scorpion Key from the grate.

Step 5: Acquire the Golden Vase

Gain the crowd's favor to receive a golden vase.

• Maintain a positive crowd affinity for approximately two full rounds. This means getting lots of kills and avoiding running through the fire in the arena.
• You'll know you've achieved positive crowd affinity when the skeleton's thumb (on the HUD) is pointing straight up and sparking.
• Sometime after this, an announcer will say: "A gift from Serket!"
• The crowd will then throw a Golden Vase into the arena for you to pick up.(NOTE: I believe you need to be in the center of the arena when the round changes for this to work)

Step 6: Charge the Vase with Scorpion Poison

Combine the Scorpion Key and Golden Vase to create a poisonous liquid.

• With the Golden Vase and Scorpion Key in hand, make your way to the tree located on the bottom level of the Danu Tower (Arboretum).
• There should be a small hole in the tree.
• Knife the hole to place the Scorpion Key inside.
• Next, place the Golden Vase under the key.
• After about one round of acid dripping into the vase, you should be able to pick it back up. It will now be filled with scorpion poison.

Step 7: Obtain the Death of Orion

With all items collected, you can now get the wonder weapon.

• Finally, make your way to the Mystery Box (often found in the "Fallen Hero" area).
• Poison the Mystery Box by interacting with the heads on the left corner of the box.
• After doing that, purchase the box , and you will receive the Death of Orion!
