Free Perk - Viking Boat

Overview

This guide will walk you through the steps to acquire the Free Viking Perk on the Black Ops 4 Zombies map IX.

Step 1: Preparation

• Equip the Wraith Fire as your special equipment.
• It is highly recommended to also equip the "Equip Mint" elixir as one of your four elixirs. This will refresh the cooldown on your Wraith Fire, which will be useful in case you miss a throw.

Step 2: Collect the Items

You need to pick up three specific items located around the map:

• Cup: Find the cup in this corner of the Danu-Ra Temple Entrance area.
• Sword: Locate the sword on the lowest right side crypt in The Crypts area.
• Golden Helmet: The golden helmet is found on a shelf in the Odin Tower Entrance, just before exiting into the arena.

Step 3: Assemble the Skeleton

• Make your way to the top level of the Odin Tower, specifically to the large skeleton.
• Place the golden helmet on the skeleton's head.
• Place the sword in the skeleton's hands.
• Place the cup in the boat's mouth.

Step 4: Ignite the Boat

• Go to the top level of the Zeus Tower, specifically the Zeus Altar Room.
• From here, you must throw your Wraith Fire up and over the gap to land on the boat with the skeleton, lighting it on fire.
• This may take a few tries. If you line your crosshairs up as shown in the video, aiming just a bit to the right, you should be able to eventually hit it.
• If you run out of Wraith Fire charges, use your "Equip Mint" elixir to refresh the cooldown.
• You'll know you did it correctly when the boat stays lit with blue flames.

Step 5: Survive and Collect

• Once the boat is lit, you need to survive for seven rounds.
• After surviving seven rounds, a Viking power-up will spawn next to the boat.
• Collect the power-up, and you will be given a random perk.
• Important: If you go down after receiving the perk, you will lose it.
