This guide details how to unlock the Relics in Cursed mode on Ashes of the Damned, including prerequisites, activating the challenge, and completing the Relic Trial. All prerequisites are the same for every trial

Step 1: Complete Prerequisites

• First, you must complete the main Easter Egg on Standard difficulty for the Ashes of the Damned map.
• After completing the Easter Egg, PRESS CONTINUTE and interact with the Mysterious Object found in the map .
• Load into a match in Curse mode and reach Round 20 to activate the relic challenge.

Dragon Wings

• From the Farm area, hit the jump pad to travel to Reckoning.
• Once in Reckoning, locate and shoot the three targets.
• If done correctly, you will hear a loud laugh, confirming the challenge is available.
• Head back to the Farm area.
• On the side of the house in Farm, you will find a green portal to begin the Relic Trial.
• Interact with the portal to start the trial.

• The trial will involve four waves of zombies and high-value targets.
• As you kill zombies, power-ups will spawn. DO NOT grab these power-ups, as they will deal significant damage to you in Cursed mode.
• Focus on eliminating all enemies to complete each wave.
• Upon successful completion of all four waves, the trial will be complete.
• You will be awarded the Dragon Wings Relic, which can now be equipped in Cursed mode.

 

Lawyers Pen

• Go to The Arsenal to equip the 'Napalm Burst' weapon mod.
• You need to shoot three hidden candles with the Napalm Burst weapon mod.
• The first candle is located within the Farmhouse, on the wall next to a window.
• The second candle is out in the Lost Cabins area, located after Blackwater Lake. It's on a wall inside one of the cabins.
• The final candle is in Ashwood, right next to the Juggernog perk machine.
• Upon shooting the third candle, you will hear a laugh, confirming you've completed this step correctly.
• Head back to the Farm area.
• On the side of the barn, you will find a Relic Trial Portal. Interact with it to activate the trial.
• The 'Grim Trial' will activate, spawning multiple Mimics and high-value targets.
• Eliminate all four waves of Mimics and targets to complete the trial.
• Upon successful completion, you will unlock the Lawyer's Pen Relic. This relic will cause Mimics to invade your curse matches, adding an extra layer of challenge.

 

Teddy Bear

Collect 10 Mr Peeks around the map. You will need the wonder weapon and aether shroud. You can collect 1-9 before round 20, but last one spawns on round 20. You can collect the Mr. Peeks in any order, but here's a suggested route starting once you have the Wonder Weapon.

Mr. Peeks 1: Pharmacy Silo

• Found in the Pharmacy area, on the side of the silo.
• 

Mr. Peeks 2: Terminus Bolt

• Located on the Terminus Bolt, underneath the ship in the small section behind the stairs.
• 

Mr. Peeks 3: Janus Towers Gate

• At Janus Towers, on top of the large gate structure leading towards Blackwater Lake.
• 

Mr. Peeks 4: Blackwater Lake Cabin

• Inside the cabin on the first floor, in the Speed Cola room, behind a small barrier.
• 

Mr. Peeks 5: Lost Cabins Shed

• Found in the Lost Cabins area (after Blackwater Lake), on top of the small shed in the fog.
• 

Mr. Peeks 6: Ashwood Church

• In the Ashwood area, locate the church and find Mr. Peeks in a gap within the building.
• 

Mr. Peeks 7: Rabbit Alley Jump Pad

• Also in Ashwood, near the jump pad area in Rabbit Alley, behind the stairs.
• 

Mr. Peeks 8: Cosmodrome Pole

• In Cosmodrome, on top of a pole.
• 

Mr. Peeks 9: Cosmodrome Barrier

• Still in Cosmodrome, behind a barrier. This might be a tight spot to reach depending on your speed.
• 

Mr. Peeks 10: Diner Highway Sign (Round 20+)

• The final Mr. Peeks is at the Diner, on the highway sign. Remember, this one only spawns after you reach Round 20.
• 
• Once all 10 Mr. Peeks have been collected, a Relic Trial will activate.
• The final trial will spawn at Farm, on the side of the shed.
• The trial's condition is that every weapon shot costs 100 Essence. Ensure you have a significant amount of Essence before starting.
• It is recommended to use a shotgun or sniper rifle to conserve shots and Essence during the trial.
• Upon successful completion of the Relic Trial, you will be awarded the Teddy Bear Relic.
• Equipping this relic will reduce round delays by 75%, significantly speeding up your gameplay in Cursed Mode.

Vril Sphere

• First, ensure you have obtained and equipped the initial three relics in the Grim category

• Progress through Cursed mode until you reach Round 40.

• 
• At Round 40, Doppelganger spawns will begin.
• When a Doppelganger spawns, you will need to kill it in a specific way to trigger the trial.
• Lure the Doppelganger to a jump pad.
• As soon as the Doppelganger hits you, use the jump pad. This will take the Doppelganger with you, causing it to die.

• If done correctly, you will hear a distinct laugh, signifying that the Sinister Trial is now available.

 

• Head to the Cosmodrome area.

• 
• Locate the Relic Trial portal on the wall.
•  
• 
• Begin the Sinister Trial.
• Important: During this trial, all purchases are disabled, including ammo. Make sure you are well-equipped before starting.

• Survive the wave of enemies in the trial.
• Upon successful completion of the Sinister Trial, the Vrills Fire Relic will be unlocked.

Bus Relic

This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking the 'Bus Relic' in 'Cursed' mode on 'Acts of the Damned'. This relic provides a unique challenge by allowing enemies to regenerate health, offering a new layer of difficulty to your gameplay.

Step 1: Meet Pre-requisites for the Trial

Before attempting the trial, you need to ensure you have met the necessary pre-requisites:

• Equip enough relics to reach Tier 2 in 'Cursed' mode. This can be seen in the menu before starting a match.
• Reaching Tier 2 will unlock Golden Armor and new weapon rarity upgrades, which are essential for survival in high rounds.

Step 2: Reach Round 60 in Cursed Mode

Once you have your relics set up:

• Head into a match of 'Cursed' mode.
• Continue playing and surviving until you reach round 60 or higher.

Step 3: Complete Ravager Round Using a Trap

Upon reaching round 60 or above:

• Wait for your next Ravager round to begin.
• Position yourself strategically at a trap, such as the Saw Blade Trap.
• Be ready to activate the trap as soon as the Ravager round starts.
• The objective is to complete this entire Ravager round without taking any damage, utilizing the trap to eliminate all enemies.
• One trap should be sufficient to clear the round. You will hear a distinctive laughter sound, indicating that the Relic Trial has become available.

Step 4: Locate and Complete the Relic Trial

With the trial now available:

• Navigate to the Boat House area in Blackwater Lake.
• The Relic Trial portal will appear on the side of the Boat House.
• Interact with the portal to begin the trial.
• The core challenge of this trial is that only zombies can kill other zombies. This means you must rely on Brain Rot-afflicted zombies to eliminate all enemies within the trial.
• Consider utilizing a Plague agument to speed up the process, as this is currently noted as the longest trial available.

Step 5: Obtain the Bus Relic

Upon successfully completing the Brain Rot zombie-only challenge:

• You will be awarded the 'Bus Relic'.
• This relic has the unique effect of allowing enemies to begin regaining their health, significantly increasing the difficulty of subsequent rounds.

Dragon Relic

Step 1: Understand Relic Prerequisites

To begin the process of unlocking the Dragon Relic, you must first meet certain in-game conditions related to relics.

• Ensure you have equipped enough relics to reach Tier 2 within Cursed Mode.
• Reaching Tier 2 unlocks beneficial upgrades such as Golden Armor and an enhanced weapon rarity for your game.

Step 2: Complete Main Easter Egg Steps

Before you can attempt the Dragon Relic trial, you need to progress through the main storyline of the map.

• Complete all the main Easter Egg steps for Ashes of the Damned.
• Crucially, stop your progress just before initiating the final boss fight of the main Easter Egg.

Step 3: Reach Round 60+

A significant round milestone is required to activate the next phase of the unlock.

• Continue playing your game until you have successfully reached Round 60 or higher.

Step 4: Defeat Boss Fight

Once you are at Round 60 or beyond, you must confront the map's boss.

• Enter the boss fight at Round 60+.
• Successfully defeat the main boss.

• After defeating the boss, press 'Continue' when prompted.
• Listen for a distinct laugh, which signifies that the Dragon Relic trial is now available for activation.

Step 5: Complete the Dragon Relic Trial

With the prerequisites met and the trial activated, you can now proceed to the specific challenge.

• Locate the Relic Trial portal at the Boathouse in Blackwater Lake.

 

• Enter the trial. The challenge involves getting kills exclusively with explosive weapons.

 

• It is highly recommended to use weapons like the Ray Gun and the Gauntlet, as they are most effective for this trial.
• Successfully complete the trial by eliminating all required zombies using only explosive damage.

Step 6: Claim Your Reward

Upon successful completion of the trial, the Dragon Relic will be yours.

• You will be awarded the Dragon Relic.

 

• Be aware that equipping the Dragon Relic will disable all ammo crates during your gameplay.

 

Focusing Stone

• Start by getting a melee kill on a bear zombie.
• Upon killing the bear with a melee attack, it will drop a bottle. Collect this bottle.

Step 2: Obtain the Second Bottle Part

• Next, locate and complete a Legendary TEDD task on Round 40 or higher.
• After successfully completing the TEDD task, a second bottle will drop from the reward box. Collect this bottle.

Step 3: Activate the Sinister Trial

• With both bottles in hand, make your way to the Blackwater Cabin.
• Go to the bar inside the cabin and place the two bottles on the bar counter.
• The bottles will flash in a specific sequence. You must shoot the bottles in the exact order they flash.
• Upon successfully shooting the bottles in the correct order, the Sinister Trial will be available for activation under the rocket at the Cosmodrome.
• Be aware that activating this trial will forfeit all your current essence (money), so ensure you are prepared with perks or gobblegums if needed before starting.
• Complete the Sinister Trial to finally unlock the Focusing Stone Relic. Makes it so you cant have any self revive
